On 6th December 2018, we had a joint collaboration with Vivantis Technologies Sdn Bhd and our distributor, Biosyntech Malaysia Group Sdn Bhd in organizing the RNA Extraction, RT-PCR and Gel Electrophoresis Workshop. The workshop was held at Revongen Corporation Center, Selangor, Malaysia, with the aim to provide an overview of RNA extraction, RT-PCR and gel electrophoresis. Furthermore, hands on sessions were included to ensure everyone had a chance to experience handling the equipment for better skill enrichment. Participants were able to use quite a number of Hercuvan products such as GS-2×48 Gradient Touch Thermal Cycler, TT-EP ElitePRO Single Channel Adjustable Volume Pipettes, TT-14500 PRO Microcentrifuge and more.

A total of 39 participants from various universities joined the workshop including undergraduates, postgraduates and lecturers from University of Malaya, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Taylor’s University, Monash University and more. Moving forward, we plan to collaborate with our distributor for upcoming workshops so keep an eye for announcements in 2019!
