The double-stranded DNA promoter was prepared by annealing complementary strands in 1 × PBS buffer, using Hercuvan Lab Systems’s Gradient Touch Thermal Cycler by a research group from Hong Kong, China. This research was demonstrated to investigate the interaction of Sp1 and APP promoter elucidates a mechanism for Pb²⁺ caused neurodegeneration.
